our services
Warren County Emergency Communications Center (WCECC) is the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for anyone residing in, travelling through, or visiting Warren County Missouri. Using the internationally approved Protocol system designed by Priority Dispatch, Academy-certified personnel have been required to use the Medical, Fire, and Police Priority Dispatch System (PDS) protocols for caller interrogation and provision of post-dispatch and pre-arrival instructions since the start. These protocols are designed to quickly and effectively assist with the interrogation of those in need of assistance. Since its establishment in 1996, WCECC has dedicated itself to providing the highest quality communications support to the citizens of our county and the members of the public service agencies we serve.
911 Call Taking
WCECC is responsible for dispatching for public safety agencies within the county. These agencies consist of two ambulance districts, three fire districts, three police departments and the county sheriff’s department, with mutual aid agreements existing for seven additional Fire Departments.
public safety dispatching
Besides our communications role, the Center is the major MULES/NCIC access for law enforcement in the County. The Center enters and maintains warrants, detainers, and court orders; performs criminal history and DOR inquiries in support of traffic arrests, and criminal investigations; and relays all messages between outside law enforcement agencies.
